Day 1 on the road

It was most ifficult to leae the dogs this morning. They were upset as they can tell when we are getting ready to go on a trip with all the walking to and fro. Was a quiet drive relatively till we got to Ohio and it started to rain torentially. It was then we decided to only drive till 8 pm from now on we arrived in Indiana here at the hotel at 906pm. Applebees was withing walking distance so we ate there, Its a chain so its good to know what to expect. Chicago I think is only about 100 miless from here so I know we will be past that. Today we went 650 miles.Nice clean hotel room. It will be a restful night.
