So much to see

It has been a veritable sensory explosion. Between seeing all new things and the food and the air and weather it has taken time to process it all. I was wondering why I felt so sad yesterday and I realize it is a one year anniversary of my mothers passing. The upside of it is we went to the beach yesterday and knowing how much my mother loved the sea I really felt better after going to the beach. It was a wonderful time exploring the shoreline and wading. Did not go in as there were detailed instructions as to how to escape the rip tide. The water was colder than anything on the Atlantic. The reason why is that it is fed by the melting ice. San Mateo is a lovely area. But it has been colder than usual as per Francisco.Electronics are amazing as we are doing work while we are on the road. James and Rose and Erik are safely back in NY.

  1. Your photos look amazing from where you have been going to on your trip. It is good that you had the ocean to go to when you felt sad about your mother yesterday. I miss the Pacific ocean and don't remember it being cold, but I lived down in Los Angeles and they get the southern waters. Everyone enjoy themselves!
